The State Gallery of Lower Austria opens up to visitors as a museum building with wide, light-flooded arches that form the prelude to the museum visit. The course covers 3,000 m2 of the most modern exhibition space and leads to changing exhibitions at the highest level on five levels.

In May 2019, the State Gallery of Lower Austria opened as a new museum in one of the most important cultural landscapes in Austria: the architecturally striking new building sets a strong signal for fine arts at the gateway to the Wachau World Heritage Site.
